Glassy little Sunday — clean 1-2' on the log and fresh turtle tracks up the beach
Sunday morning at Picnic Tables and the ocean's behaving. Clean 1-2' rolling in with barely a breath of wind — 1-2 mph out of the SE, just enough to keep it honest. Still a little leftover longboard swell sneaking through, breaking nearshore on the high tide, so you don't have to paddle to the next county to find one. Nothing heavy, but it's the kind of slick, friendly morning that'll keep something fun on offer all day. Bonus this morning: fresh turtle crawl up the sand from an overnight nester — nesting season's in full swing, so watch your step and give the marked spots room. Athena did her usual quality-control sniff and signed off. Grab the log and enjoy it.
