Glassy little log session — finally a knee-to-waist bump worth waxing up for

Saturday morning and the prayers finally got answered, sorta. We've got a clean 1-2' bump rolling in at Picnic Tables — nothing that's gonna get the shortboard crowd out of bed, but plenty for the log. Water's glassy as a tabletop, almost zero wind, the kind of slick where every little line shows itself before it breaks. Only catch is it's already cooking out here, so it's screen-up, grab the longboard, and get wet before the sun makes you regret the wetsuit-less life. Tide's headed out toward a 1 PM low, so the sandbars should keep shaping these up for a while. Athena did her dune patrol on the way down and gave it the nose of approval. Get out there.
