Another hot one, but the log swell's hanging on — clean 1-2' on the incoming midtide

Monday morning at Picnic Tables and summer's still cranking the thermostat — another hot one. Good news is there's still a fun little 1-2' wave out there for the log, breaking on the midtide incoming with the right sandbar doing the work. SW winds at about 5 mph are grooming it clean, so the faces are smooth and the occasional set has a little shoulder to ride. The full moon stirred things up overnight too — lots of fresh turtle nests up the beach, so mind the marked spots and keep Athena out of the dunes. Not a marathon session, but if you've got the time, paddle out and grab a few. Athena gave it the morning once-over and approved.
