1' high tide outgoing — light west wind and nothing but shorebreak, pray for hurricane swell
8:07 AM high tide outgoing at 32nd Street and there is not much to report. One foot breaking right on the beach, light west wind under 5 mph keeping it glassy, which is the only kind thing you can say about it. Clean and empty and completely flat, the ocean doing its best impression of a lake with a lip. Boats sitting out on the horizon in that flat calm and a pelican working the shorebreak because nobody else has anything better to do either. Athena posted up at the top of the dune walkover and gave it the long look before we went down. Pray for hurricane swell, it is our only hope now.
