Glassy 1' Nearshore — Bring a Pole, Not a Board
Incoming low tide at 8:45 with a clean 1-footer breaking right on the sand. Deep blue water, clear skies, and barely a ripple of texture — pretty as a postcard but no real push for surfers. The real action is in the water: a huge school of fish moving through just off the beach, with birds working overhead and a couple folks already out. Leave the board, grab the poles — that's a bite-window setup if I've ever seen one. Athena approved the patrol. Pray for a storm and book your plane tickets if you're after waves; this stretch is a fishing morning.
