2-3' still bumpy and choppy but lighter wind and swell. Warm beach day — watch for loggerhead nests!

7:30 AM incoming tide check at Cocoa Beach's best surf spot — 2-3 foot and still bumpy choppy out there but the wind has backed off significantly from yesterday's 20 mph gusts. Swell has come down too. It's rideable if you want to get wet but don't expect anything clean. The good news is it's a beautiful warm beach day out here. Important reminder — it's sea turtle nesting season and loggerhead nests are starting to pop up along the beach. Watch where you step and keep an eye out for the stakes and tape. Happy Tuesday.
