7 AM lowtide — 1-2' breaking right on the beach, very light NE winds and still waiting on swell

7 AM lowtide check at 32nd Street with very light NE winds around 5 mph, so the surface is about as clean as it gets. There's 1-2 feet showing but it's breaking right on the beach with no real swell behind it yet. A few kids out with boogie boards making the most of the shorebreak, which is honestly the right call this morning. Athena did her usual inspection from the crossover and found the sunrise more interesting than the surf. Tomorrow and Saturday are the days, so get the wax scraped and be ready.
